A video causing controversy on social media captures the moment Mike Tyson and two other Muslim boxers engaged in prayer at a restaurant in Los Angeles, USA.
The video shows that the owner of the Los Angeles restaurant had posted a sign at the entrance reading “No dogs or Muslims allowed.”
Upon learning of this discriminatory sign, Mike Tyson and the two Muslim boxers, Badou Jack and kickboxer Aamer Abdullah, decided to confront the owner of the restaurant.
In a bold move, they performed their prayer, known as Solat, both outside and inside the restaurant, with the owner present and choosing not to intervene.
As expected, this action sparked varied reactions online. While some praised Tyson and the boxers for standing up against discrimination and expressing solidarity with Muslims, others expressed differing viewpoints on the matter.
