Cubana Chief Priest, a popular Nigerian nightlife king and close friend of singer Davido, has responded to Burna Boy’s offer to take care of his alleged babymama and son. Burna Boy had promised to relocate the woman and her child to Nigeria, provide shelter, education, and a job, amidst allegations of parental negligence against Cubana Chief Priest.
However, he took to social media to mock Burna Boy’s gesture, suggesting that the singer is unable to father a child and is therefore seeking to adopt his alleged son. Cubana Chief Priest wrote: “Person wey him thing no dey work don see opportunity to get pikin” (meaning “Someone whose thing doesn’t work has seen an opportunity to get a child”).
He also added: “Enroute Airport Our Alleged Family Is Coming From Kenya Courtesy African Princess… Shebi Na You Talk Say We Be Bloodline, Osubrileeee Oh” (meaning “Our alleged family is coming from Kenya, courtesy of African Princess… Didn’t you say we are bloodlines?”).
Cubana Chief Priest’s response has sparked a heated debate on social media, with some users criticizing his reaction and others defending his right to respond to Burna Boy’s offer.
