Veteran Nollywood actor Ayobami Mudashir Olabiyi, popularly known as Bobo B, has passed away after battling illness. Yeye Bose Akinola, Oyo State Governor of the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN), confirmed the news. Olabiyi had been hospitalized at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan, where he lost the ability to speak or move before his passing.
The late actor was a renowned figure in Yoruba cinema and served as TAMPAN’s National General Secretary until his death. His health issues had forced him to miss a scheduled movie shoot in Oyo State in September. Yeye Bose Akinola expressed condolences on behalf of TAMPAN, praying for God to grant his family and colleagues the strength to cope with the loss.
