Afrobeats artist Mayorkun took to his social media platform to express frustration, revealing that he may never grace the stage in Calabar again.

This revelation comes in the aftermath of his energetic performance in the city, as shared on the X platform, formerly known as Twitter.

Singer Mayorkun, the “Che Che” hitmaker describes his experience in Calabar as hellish and a nightmare.

He wrote; “Calabar, you will probably never ever see me again, goodluck to the other artistes coming for your festivals tho.”

He added; “I just want to wake up from this dream bro.’

Current online reports indicate that the recent incident was an act of theft. Evidently, the singer’s necklace was stolen when an enthusiastic crowd swarmed him, seizing the opportunity to snatch the chain discreetly and swiftly. Additionally, there are claims that the value of the stolen chain is estimated to be in the millions of American dollars.
