Burna Boy has finally broken his silence on Speed Darlington’s release from prison. For those who might not know, Speed Darlington was arrested and detained for allegedly accusing Burna Boy of having an immoral relationship with American rapper and music executive Diddy.
After being granted bail, Speed Darlington was released on Tuesday, January 21st, 2024. Burna Boy took to social media to issue a warning to Speed Darlington, stating that if he “misbehaved” again, he would send him back to detention with no mercy this time around.
However, it’s worth noting that Burna Boy’s post seems to be more of a general statement rather than a direct response to Speed Darlington’s release. In his Instagram story, Burna Boy wrote, “When they talk nobody cares, but it’s a Nuclear disaster when I react… You all don’t know how lucky you are that I have too much to lose now”. 
This suggests that he might be referring to the backlash he often faces from critics, rather than specifically addressing Speed Darlington’s situation. Nonetheless, the warning is clear: he won’t hesitate to take action if provoked again.
