Nigerian socialite, Bobrisky, has unleashed a scathing attack on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), labeling them as the ‘most wicked people in Nigeria’.
Bobrisky’s outburst came in response to the EFCC’s recent statement urging Nigerians to show empathy towards one of their officials who was killed during a raid in Anambra.
In a series of Instagram stories, Bobrisky accused the EFCC of hypocrisy, citing his own experiences with the Commission. He claimed that his house was searched on allegations of money laundering, and that the EFCC’s actions were unjustified.
‘You are asking the public to be human about the loss of one of your staff, but you are the most wicked people in Nigeria,’ Bobrisky stated. ‘When I was in your custody, you took me to my house and searched my house… Police are better than you all one million times.’
Bobrisky’s comments have sparked a heated debate online, with some users defending the EFCC’s actions and others supporting Bobrisky’s criticism.”
