Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made a bold comeback amidst a storm of criticism following his controversial celebrity gratitude list.
Bobrisky caused an uproar by publicly revealing the A-list celebrities who allegedly sent him N63 million during his time behind bars. The list included prominent figures such as Don Jazzy, Funke Akindele, Tonto Dikeh, Tiwa Savage, Victor Osimhen, and Eniola Ajao, which sparked heated debates across social media.
The backlash was led by social media personality Verydarkman, who, alongside many outraged Nigerians, expressed deep disappointment and disapproval. They questioned why such influential celebrities would support Bobrisky during what they viewed as a scandalous episode, leading to widespread shock and disbelief. The criticism was so intense that many claimed to have lost respect for every star mentioned on the controversial list.
Unfazed by the public outcry, Bobrisky responded defiantly on August 27, sharing a series of glamorous photos on Instagram, showcasing stunning outfits and exuding confidence ahead of his birthday on August 31, 2024. Each post served as a statement of self-assurance and a visual declaration of his unwavering belief in his journey. In his captions, Bobrisky praised himself, asserting pride in his identity and the female essence he claims to have fully embraced, reinforcing his resilience in the face of criticism.
Bobrisky wrote; “Girl is not even ur birthday yet damn 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 You are beautiful You represent d gender you have become so well.”
