In a recent revelation, Biodun shared the heartbreaking experiences she faced with marketers who demanded sexual favors, leading to her departure from the industry.
According to Biodun Okeowo, these marketers sabotaged her career, blacklisting her for refusing to give in to their demands. They went as far as instructing producers to stop casting her in movies and even removed her image from a film poster where she played the lead role.
The actress expressed her frustration and disappointment, stating that the marketers’ actions left her feeling miserable and drained. She eventually lost her passion for acting and walked away from the industry.

She wrote, “Marketers were the reason I left the movie industry after blacklisting me for refusing to remove my panties. They even told producers to stop featuring me in movies and went as far as removing my head from the poster of a film where I played the lead role.
“How many of their wicked actions should I even talk about? They did so much damage to my career that I eventually got tired of acting and walked away by myself. I developed so much hatred for a job I once had so much passion for that I began to turn jobs down,”
