The movie stars Kelvin McCallister, a young boy who defends his suburban Chicago home from a home invasion by a pair of robbers after his family accidentally leaves him behind on their Christmas vacation to Paris.
Its a movie the whole family including the kids, will get stuck in watching and would love it from start to end.
2. Elf
Raised as an oversized elf, Buddy travels from the North Pole to New York City to meet his biological father.
Walter Hobbs, who doesn’t know he exists and is in desperate need of some Christmas spirit.
Elf is a 2009 movie which is spirited, good-natured family comedy, and it benefits greatly from Will Ferrell’s funny and charming performance as one of Santa’s biggest helpers.
Will Ferrell stars as Buddy, a human raised by elves in the North Pole, who travels all the way to New York one Christmas to find his biological father.
This movie will leave the entire family rolling in laughter as it is a family comedy movie that is loved and watched by many.
3. Die Hard
Die Hard follows New York City police detective John McClane (Willis) who is caught up in a terrorist takeover of a Los Angeles skyscraper while visiting his estranged wife.
This movie is a 1988 thriller movie where a New York City police officer tries to save his estranged wife and several others taken hostage by terrorists during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.
Bruce Willis plays John McClane, a cop trying to save his wife and other hostages at a holiday party that gets taken over by German terrorists.
This is a great movie to watch with your family and loved ones as it keeps you all glued to your tv screen till the very end.
4. It’s a Wonderful Life
This amazing classical movie is about a man who considers ending his life on Christmas Eve.
He’s then visited by a guardian angel who shows him what life in his town would have been like had he not been there.
It’s a Wonderful Life is a 1946 American Christmas supernatural drama film produced and directed by Frank Capra.
In this movie, An angel is sent from Heaven to help a desperately frustrated businessman by showing him what life would have been like if he had never existed.
This is an emotional movie that speaks loudly of hope and not giving up in life.
It is truly loved by all and that’s why it makes the list of the best movies to watch this Christmas.
5. Miracles on 34th Street
This movie makes the list of the best movies to watch this Christmas because of its wonderful storyline.
After a divorced New York mother hires a nice old man to play Santa Claus at Macy’s, she is startled by his claim to be the genuine article.
When his sanity is questioned, a lawyer defends him in court by arguing that he’s not mistaken.

A Christmas Story is one of culture’s most inescapable movies, centering on a young boy who wants nothing more than to be gifted a BB gun.
This movie is a 1983 Christmas comedy film directed by Bob Clark and based on the 1966 book In God We Trust
In the 1940s, a young boy named Ralphie Parker attempts to convince his parents, teacher, and Santa Claus that a Red Ryder Range 200 Shot BB gun really is the perfect Christmas gift.
This movie is one of my favorite because it tends to give that nostalgic and sentimental feeling to it’s amazing viewers!!!
7. Love Hard
After meeting her perfect match on a dating app, an L.A. writer learns she’s been catfished when she flies 3,000 miles to surprise him for Christmas.
Love Hard is a 2021 American romantic comedy film directed by Hernán Jiménez and written by Danny Mackey and Rebecca Ewing.
Starring Nina Dobrev, Jimmy O. Yang, and Darren Barnet, the film follows a young woman who travels to her online crush’s hometown for Christmas but discovers she has been catfished.
This movie is funny, witty, entertaining, emotional, and a must-watch by all.
