Popular Nigerian singer David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, has reportedly unfollowed his junior colleague BNXN on social media following a controversial tweet from BNXN directed towards him.
BNXN, formerly known as Buju, has become a trending topic online after engaging in heated exchanges with a Davido fan. This intense reaction from BNXN followed a comment from the fan on a microblogging platform, referring to the “Gwagwalada” hitmaker as a mid-level artist in the Nigerian music industry.
In response, BNXN referred to the Davido fan as a “retard” and criticized their knowledge of music, claiming that their support for Davido undermines their moral right to comment on the subject. The exchanges have garnered attention and stirred discussions among fans on social media.
BNXN wrote; “You be retard. Knowing your fave. You know suppose dey speak on anything regarding music. Fem!.”
Grammy nominated singer Davido didn’t find this funny as he deleted a tweet saying that he made a classic with BNXN a year ago.
