Despite the unfavorable responses to his new cryptocurrency, $DAVIDO, Nigerian musician David Adeleke, commonly known as Davido, has expressed gratitude to his followers and supporters.
The digital currency was launched on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, sparking excitement among his fans. To bring his proposal to life, Davido collaborated with major blockchain platforms Phantom and Solana.
Initially, $DAVIDO experienced a meteoric rise, hitting a market cap of $10 million within four hours and gaining momentum on DEX Screener. However, the jubilation was short-lived, as the coin’s value dropped the next day, Thursday, May 30.
Despite being criticized by many disgruntled netizens, Davido welcomed everyone who joined the $DAVIDO community early on. He also mentioned that some people were fortunate enough to win $100 through the Solana platform.
