A heartwarming video has emerged of Segun Olowookere, a man previously sentenced to death for stealing a fowl, meeting Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke after being pardoned. Olowookere’s journey to freedom began when his mother made an emotional appeal on actress Biola Bayo’s podcast, seeking intervention in his case.
The appeal gained widespread attention on social media, prompting Governor Adeleke to direct the state’s Attorney General to initiate pardon processes. Olowookere was subsequently released from Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
