Renowned Nigerian activist Martins Vincent Otse, professionally known as VeryDarkMan, has recently posted his first video on Instagram (IG) following his release from police custody.
On March 31st, 2024, VeryDarkMan was freed after spending nine days in detention since his arrest on March 22nd, 2024. Reports indicate that Tonto Dikeh initiated his arrest through a police petition.
According to VeryDarkMan’s lawyer, individuals such as Tonto Dikeh, Samklef, and Iyabo Ojo were involved in orchestrating his arrest. After subtly addressing his critics through a diss track while driving home, VeryDarkMan shared a video on IG where he proudly boasts about his release.
In the video, VeryDarkMan appears confident in a striking native attire, mentioning his release coinciding with the resurrection of Jesus Christ and highlighting the rarity of being released on a Sunday. He asserts that he cannot be defeated, suggesting that anyone who confronts him or whom he confronts will ultimately suffer the consequences.
In his words; “When you come for me, your’re the victim, when I come for you, you’re still the victim, I never lose, that is why I say don’t play, you saw when I came out, same day when Jesus Christ rose. Do they release people on a Sunday? Now let the story begin.”
