Renowned indigenous Yoruba actress, Laide Bakare, has been named Senior Special Adviser to Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on matters pertaining to entertainment, arts, tourism, and culture.
The accomplished movie star shared the news of her appointment in a Thursday Instagram post, accompanied by photos from her meeting with the governor, showcasing the official document of her appointment.
Expressing her gratitude, Laide, who hails from Oyo state, declared herself an honorable representative of the state in her new role.
She wrote, “NOW AN HONORABLE 🙏 ya Allah I am grateful 🙏. To my New Boss GOVERNOR ADEMOLA JACKSON ADELEKE Imole Osun. Thank you so much for the trust and opportunity to serve. I promise to deliver my Best. So help me God 🙏”
