Tinubu promised that his government would help Hajj pilgrims and make their journey more comfortable. He stressed the significance of spiritual activities in building the nation and assured support for religious events.
He also emphasized the importance of cooperation between political and spiritual leaders to benefit the nation and foster unity among the people.
Regarding agriculture, the President explained plans to improve farming by expanding farmlands, offering low-interest loans to farmers, and investing in irrigation infrastructure.
“We are dedicated to equipping hospitals with modern equipment, providing healthcare professionals with training, and ensuring social welfare for every citizen, including comprehensive health insurance coverage.
“Nigeria will become a net-exporter of food. We are bringing thousands of tractors. Food production will be greatly expanded through aggressive mechanisation. We must be productive as a people. That is the Sunnah and the principles I grew up understanding,” he said.
Tinubu praised the Global Tijaniyya Movement for their support and prayers, highlighting the importance of everyone working together to improve Nigeria.
Niass, the leader of Tijaniyya, spoke on behalf of the group, applauding the President for his strong dedication to Nigeria’s peace and progress. He expressed confidence in the President’s leadership and conveyed the group’s enthusiastic support and prayers for him.
During the visit, the delegation prayed for the nation’s advancement, unity, and prosperity. They also prayed for Tinubu to be blessed with wisdom, strength, and success by Almighty Allah.
