Popular OAP Nedu Wazobia has announced his departure from the Honest Bunch podcast, citing the need to preserve his peace of mind and dignity.
The decision comes after a heated controversy involving activist Verydarkman, who accused Nedu of sharing confidential information about his personal life. Nedu had faced backlash for his handling of the situation.
In a statement on Instagram, Nedu explained that hosting the podcast had become a journey of open conversations and tackling difficult topics. However, the scrutiny and antagonism had taken a personal toll.
“I have made the difficult decision to step away from the podcast,” Nedu wrote. “This is not a decision I take lightly, but one I believe is necessary—for my peace of mind, for my family, and for the integrity of the show itself.”
Nedu hopes his departure will bring an end to the negativity surrounding his name and allow the podcast to continue thriving. He remains committed to fostering meaningful dialogue and looks forward to new opportunities.
