Bobrisky’s arrest on October 21st, 2024, was revealed by activist VeryDarkMan, claiming he was detained by Nigerian Immigration while attempting to flee to Benin Republic. The Immigration Service confirmed the arrest on X (formerly Twitter).

The crossdresser’s release comes amid an ongoing case with VeryDarkMan at the Nigerian House of Representatives. Bobrisky posted a empowering message, saying, “Strong women don’t play the victim. Don’t make themselves look pitiful and don’t point fingers. They stand and they deal.”
