Tragedy struck the Lagos Police Command yesterday evening when Chief Superintendent of Police Bolaji Olugbenga, Divisional Police Officer of Ijanikin Police Station, suddenly collapsed and died in his office. According to eyewitnesses, CSP Olugbenga was sitting at his desk when he slumped and passed away before medical assistance could arrive.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed the incident through its spokesperson, Superintendent of Police Benjamin Hundeyin, during a press briefing on Friday night. While details surrounding the circumstances of CSP Olugbenga’s death remain scarce, Hundeyin acknowledged the tragic loss but declined further comment due to the ongoing investigation.
