A Nigerian woman recently shared her emotional and eye-opening experience of relocating to the UK. Leaving behind a successful business and comfortable lifestyle in Lagos, she faced harsh realities in the UK.
Her journey began with an unfulfilling cleaning job through an agency, followed by struggles to make ends meet, and even bouts of suicidal thoughts. Despite landing a cleaner role at a museum, she couldn’t shake off memories of her former CEO status.
