Nigerian Man sends his wife packing for using his ATM card to buy a designer bag of N5.2M without informing him

A video has surfaced online showing a Nigerian man sending his wife packing for using his ATM card to buy a designer bag worth N5.2 million without informing him.

The clip begins with the husband, an Urhobo man, in the house with his wife and children in a cheerful atmosphere. The mother asked her son to deliver his father’s food to the table while she praised her husband for his hard work.

As the husband was about to enjoy the pepper soup, the wife casually mentioned that she had taken $3500, approximately N5.2 million, from his account to buy a designer bag. The husband was shocked and nearly had a heart attack, unable to believe his wife had withdrawn such a large amount without his knowledge.

Defending herself, the wife explained that her husband often remarked about her wearing cheap bags, so she decided to buy the latest designer bag that top ladies were wearing. This justification did not sit well with the husband, who had barely touched his food after a long trip. He accused his wife of trying to bring him down, emphasizing that he is neither Davido nor Egungun of Lagos.

In the video, the enraged husband is seen throwing his wife’s bags, clothes, and shoes out of the house, insisting that she leaves. Despite his actions, the wife stood her ground and refused to go anywhere, leading to a tense and dramatic scene.

The video has sparked widespread reactions online, with many discussing the implications of financial transparency and trust in marriages.
