Popular Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin have made headlines once again as they finally ended their long years of rivalry.
Previously, Iyabo had filed a defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy and demanded N500 million for damages. However, Lizzy failed to attend court during their first hearing in February 2024, leading to legal notices being pasted at her house gate.
In an update, the judge presiding over their case acted as a mediator and reconciled the actresses. Confirming this to the press, Iyabo stated that the judge gave them motherly advice to stop fighting and cursing each other on social media and embrace peace.
A video circulating online shows them smiling outside the court, with Lizzy’s husband approaching Iyabo and giving her a peaceful hug. Lizzy’s lawyer also confirmed that the actresses are ready to make peace with each other.
